Some Recent Artwork...

This season I have used sunflowers as a decorative theme in our kitchen and dining room.  The bright happy energy they bring to a room is perfect for the beginning of fall when days get shorter and the light becomes more diffused.  I made this mixed media piece of the sunflower arrangement on our kitchen table. It is  8 1/2 x 11" and features a combination of decorative papers, beads, watercolor, acrylic paint, and colored pencil.
