Camellia Show

Recently I attended my very first flower show, an event devoted to camellias!  It was a fascinating exploration of the many different varieties of camellias available.  There were hundreds of blossoms displayed on tables representing the finest examples of the flower grown statewide. It was dazzling!

There were burgundy camellias, soft yellow ones, pure white flowers, and every shade of red and pink one can imagine.  It was also interesting to recognize how large some of these flowers can be!  There were examples featured which were the size of a small plate.  They were just lovely.  Now I am inspired to add to my camellia collection at home.
