Spring Mood Board

This is a spring mood board I created for a project in the course Blogging Your Way taught by Holly Becker and Leslie Shewring.  It is a reflection of the many colors, textures and flowers that are inspiring me this season.  The botanical illustration of pink tulips and the lily of the valley painting are examples of my art.  The rest of the images are magazine clippings, ribbons, and decorative papers.  A few glass beads and a filigree pin complete the ensemble.

One of the most important things I have learned through the process of assembling this piece is that inspiration is everywhere, everyday.  The trick is to find the underlying pattern in what we like and group the items accordingly.
