Daffodils and Art at Ironstone Vineyards

If spring were a symphony this would be an overture of daffodils...  These dancing yellow flowers lining the roadsides and filling countless wine barrels are the first of many exquisite blooms soon to grace the gardens at Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys, CA.  We visited this lovely vineyard and winery recently to deliver the mixed media pieces I will be exhibiting in the Spring Obsession Art Show scheduled to open there March 1st.

The many varieties of daffodils beginning to bloom throughout the property are so striking that Ironstone has now become home to the Northern California Daffodil Society's annual Mother Lode Show, usually held in mid-March.  The weekend long show, called Daffodil Days, brings together daffodil lovers from near and far to share the beauty of this unique flower.
