Rustic Beauty at Half Moon Bay, California

The serenity and rustic beauty of Half Moon Bay makes it a favorite weekend destination for those seeking an oasis in the midst of a busy life.  We had the pleasure of spending some time there recently enjoying the quiet of the countryside and beach.

On an afternoon walk we discovered these exquisite mustard fields, bathed in yellow and crowned with a mist of fog.

Cliffs of stone and wildflowers jut out over the white sand beach and frame the water while waves crash onto the shore in shades of blue, green and grey...

Horses graze in solitude in this peaceful country paradise.  It was such a refreshing visit!
