Thanksgiving is a special holiday because it celebrates family, the abundance of the harvest, and gratitude for the gifts and blessings in our lives. Setting the table for the annual Thanksgiving feast is one of my favorite ways to make the day memorable for our family.
Thanksgiving Turkey Tablesetting
I like to use a variety of textures in the tablescape and soft earth tones like beige, taupe, olive and aubergine. Over the years I’ve collected a few favorite items to include such as the turkey dinnerware which was a gift from my mother, and this rosewood flatware which I purchased years ago.. This year I added the gilded turkey to my collection of Thanksgiving decor.

Aubergine glassware and olive green printed napkins reflect the colors of the dining room and fuse with the turkey dinnerware. The pheasant dish below is another gift from a friend who often shops for antiques and chose this for me as a Thanksgiving surprise.
