Orchid Spray

 

My studio has been a busy place lately as I begin to paint the summer collection of mixed media pieces.  Here is one of the first paintings to showcase the new look with tropical pastels and exotic flowers.  The orchids featured here are cymbidium orchids which produce beautiful sprays of flowers among draping leaves.
