Magnolia in the Mist

It has been a busy week in the studio as I am starting my spring floral art.  There are so many beautiful flowers in bloom now it is difficult to choose which to paint. This mixed media piece is of a blossom from our star magnolia tree which was laden with delicate white blooms and especially beautiful after the rain.
